About the Rekla Race
Rekla is the traditional bullock cart sprint of the Tamil countryside. A pair of trained bulls pulls a light wooden cart down a straight dirt track while the driver holds the line — raw speed, balance and years of care behind every run.
Teams compete in short, explosive distances judged purely on timing. Registration is done as a TRP team along with an alliance team, and each entry receives a unique coupon number used at the starting line.
